One of Ghana’s Actresses, Beverly Afaglo has been nominated as best actress in the comedy of the feature film “Am About To Wed” by the Terracotta Awards in Nigeria.

Beverly Afaglo is in contention with   Funmi Eko of soul sistas and   Nkem Ike who also played the leading role in comfort zone. Also nominated in the Best Male Actor category is Ghanaian actor John Dumelo.

He will compete with Nigeria’s Kunle salawu who starred in the comfort zone.
Prince David Osei was also nominated in the category of the best male supporting actor. Terracotta Awards is a new Phenomenon in this millennium which seeks to stand out from the crowd through the depth and quality of event outputs, coupled with processes which among others will have deep cultural, intellectual and tourism content.
Being the first Nigerian Film and Television Awards, it is the bold activation of a dynamic process which primarily aims at fulfilling a positive agenda. Speaking to Showghana’s Ignatius Annor in a telephone interview the screen diva who played a leading role in the feature comedy “Am About To Wed”, Beverly Afaglo said she felt humbled by the nomination and hopes she will grab the award to boost her career in the make-believe world.
